A terror-ific Halloween at HS4LC!

We have been getting into the Halloween spirit here at HS4LC with lots of different Halloween inspired activities taking part over the last week!

This fantastic pumpkin drawing was done by one of our learners, Hannah. The picture is also taking pride of place on the front page of the Autumn edition of Believe and Achieve - our day centre newsletter.

The Computers: Films and Animation group which runs on a Monday afternoon have been working on some Halloween inspired animations throughout October including a brilliant animation that sees one of our tutors, Chris turn into a werewolf at midnight!

Our Magic of the Musicals group have been watching clips from different Halloween themed movies and music videos.

Our Routes to Employment interns have been busy pumpkin carving and using the inside of the pumpkin to produce some yummy recipes in their independent cooking class.

The HS4LC Healthy Soups and Seasonal Lunches group are going to use the remainder of the pumpkins to make a lovely autumnal pumpkin spice soup!

We have also been busy with Halloween art works in our craft sessions! Next we are working on some fantastic bonfire night inspired artwork - we can't wait to share them with you!

Witching You a very Happy Halloween from everyone at Harrogate Skills for Living Centre!
