We are very excited to say we are now the proud owners of a new wheelchair accessible vehicle which is for our care home residents and day centre service users.
The new vehicle has already been put to use with care home residents excited to get out and about after easing of the current lockdown rules.
Last week our residents at Briardene all said they loved the new HS4LC vehicle and have been enjoying a much needed change of scenery. After overwhelming requests for countryside scenery and a drive through Macdonald’s they headed out in the new wheels for a fantastic afternoon.
Residents at Brackenley have enjoyed a visit to the seaside in the new vehicle. It was their first trip out in 13 weeks and also in the new shiny vehicle. They enjoyed a quiet picnic at Saltburn and loved looking at the beautiful sea view.
We look forward to getting out and about to more new and exciting places. The possibilities are endless now we are lucky enough as an organisation to have our very own set of wheels.
