Harrogate Skills 4 Living
Centre need your help to make a difference for adults with learning disabilities and autism

Give us your money!

Whether you want to shave your head, bathe in baked beans or jump out of a plane (with a parachute we hope!) Any form of fundraising on behalf of HS4LC is hugely appreciated.

It costs on average £133.16 per month for an adult leaner to use the day services just once a week. With little funding available we strive to offer places to those who find themselves isolated or unable to access additional education. You can sponsor a place for an adult with learning difficulties to enable them to participate in a life skills course.

People we need to mention:

Paige Reuben has raised £5,925 for the residents of Briardene in memory of former staff member
Richard King.

Rich worked at Briardene before qualifying as a doctor. He referred to working at the home as one of the best times of his life. He remained close to staff members and residents alike and his loss has had a profound impact on the home. Paige has visited the residents and raised a huge sum of money so each resident can choose a special trip out...What an incredible way to honour Richards memory.

Flying Futures: A team of young adults contacted us as they were participating in the National Citizenship

Service and wanted to get involved in a local charity to make a difference. They volunteered to help our residents, friends and families at the annual HS4LC barbecue. In addition to supporting us on the day, they raised funds to purchase large outdoor games for the residents at Brackenley to enjoy.
