Harrogate Skills 4 Living Centre is an established charity working for the benefit of adults with learning disabilities and autism
Our day centre facilities are currently closed from Monday 23rd March until further notice due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
We will open our facilities again as soon as it is safe to do so.
Supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
This timetable will run from the 3rd September 2019 to 21st August 2020
The HS4LC day centre is based in the centre of Harrogate town on North Park Road. We also have two care homes also based in Harrogate.
We recognised that people living with learning disabilities experience isolation and exclusion. Therefore we provide a wide range of support services for our beneficiaries, from basic life skills and further education to promoting independent living and employment opportunities. We also offer a whole range of fun courses at our day centre from Arts and Crafts to Music, to Drama and Gym and Fitness sessions.
We also have our Routes to Employment Programmes. HS4LC offers three programmes for young adults with learning disabilities and autism with the aim to help them achieve sustainable paid employment in the future by equipping them with the skills they need to work.
We believe it is the right of every individual to live to their full potential. No matter the challenge or obstacle; we are there to provide encouragement for beneficiaries, their families, our staff and supporters alike.
HS4LC Ltd was formed in a response to the overwhelming need for support for vulnerable people in our community.
As a charity we require support from the local community and partner organisations in order to develop our services and expand the outreach we have. If you would like to get involved or offer help in any way please get in touch.
